What started in January 2024 as a simple WhatsApp safety group for hiking soon evolved into something much more meaningful. On our very first hike, I was deeply moved — not just by the magic of the mountains, but by the connections that formed so naturally among strangers. Locals, travelers, solo adventurers — all coming together with a shared sense of curiosity, joy, and care.
That experience changed something in me. It showed me that this wasn’t just about walking trails — it was about building community through nature. And it inspired me to become a qualified hiking guide, so I could hold space for more of those moments, safely and professionally.
